Science Education At Work in YOUR Community!
The Northwestern Ontario Regional Science Fair (NWORSF) is dedicated to fostering a love of science, technology, engineering and math in Northwestern Ontario. We organize and operate a two-day science fair each spring, designed to give students the opportunity to develop skills for scientific investigation, and showcase these talents to their peers and subject matter experts from across our region. In addition to the fair, we support science education in schools by providing advice, mentoring and teaching materials to teachers, and mentoring opportunities for students. We are a volunteer organization supported by generous donations by local sponsors.
Our 2016/17 science fair is on Friday April 7th. Student arrival @ LU CJ Sanders Fieldhouse from 7:30-8:45 AM. Join us at our public open house in the morning (9 to 11 am) or in the afternoon 4 to 5 pm)!
On behalf of the NWORSF committee, we would like to acknowledge the following 2015 palladium or titanium level donors. It is donor generosity that makes NWORSF possible:
And Thank you to all of the individual donors. Every dollar helps grow education and passion for science in Northwestern Ontario!
